Memorial Traditions

Memorial Traditions is a family-owned Illinois company established in 2003 to support families coping with the loss of a loved one and those planning ahead. Managed by four siblings, the group operates nine cemeteries and three funeral homes, with management offices in Schiller Park. Its locations serve communities including Dixon, Kankakee, Mattoon, Champaign, Urbana, and Beach Park, and include cemeteries such as Eden Memorial Park, Chapel Hill Memorial Park, and Kankakee Memorial Gardens. Some of its cemeteries have served families since the 1850s.

The company offers guidance for both immediate needs and advance planning, with licensed sales counselors and funeral directors available to answer questions and assist with arrangements. Services include traditional burial and gravesite options, cremation, niches, and mausoleums. Memorial service chapels are also available at rates the company describes as reasonable compared with traditional funeral homes. Memorial Traditions emphasizes compassionate, dignified, and respectful care, along with prompt, cost-conscious service and options designed to suit different family plans and budgets.
