The MENA Design Research Center is a non-profit organization based in Beirut, Lebanon. Founded in 2011, it is one of the few institutions in the region that focuses on Design as a multidisciplinary tool for social development and research. The center aims to use design research methodologies for the creative and critical development of cultural projects, education, and social entrepreneurship.

The center organizes workshops, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, publications, and festivals, encompassing a wide range of activities. It promotes a diverse understanding of design and implements design research and collaborative multidisciplinary projects in the MENA region. The center also works closely with design education to encourage designers' participation in non-commercial, public, and non-profit domains.

Its mission is to develop awareness of the value of design research, promote critical thinking through cultural projects, and support social entrepreneurship. With a focus on social and environmental challenges, the center teaches creatives social entrepreneurship skills and aims to develop ideas into sustainable businesses or organizations. It also aims to be inclusive and non-elitist by making its work accessible through entrance-free festivals and public interventions
