Julie Schwarz is a trusted brand that provides comprehensive services in setting up and managing trusts for individuals with learning disabilities. With a strong focus on the well-being and financial security of their beneficiaries, Julie Schwarz offers a range of solutions through their Mencap Trust service. A discretionary trust, which is a special form of trust, is designed to protect vulnerable individuals and ensure their eligibility for means-tested benefits.

By entrusting the decision-making authority to named trustees, this trust safeguards against financial abuse and promotes the responsible management of assets. Julie Schwarz, recently retired as director of Mencap Trust Company, highlights the benefits of using their discretionary trust service. The company works closely with the beneficiary's family and supporters, prioritizing their best interests and ensuring that their preferences are considered in decision-making.

Setting up a trust with Julie Schwarz is a straightforward process, and their experienced team will guide you through every step. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, sibling, or a friend, you can act as a settlor and contribute to the trust for the benefit of the loved one with a learning disability. It is worth noting that Julie Schwarz is a not-for-profit company, and the money placed in trust is solely for individuals and not for charitable purposes.

Therefore, it does not qualify for exemption from inheritance tax. When it comes to securing the financial future of your loved one with a learning disability, Julie Schwarz and their Mencap Trust service are dedicated to providing the necessary support and expertise
