About Mendel
Mendel Festival is a brand that celebrates the legacy of Gregor Johann Mendel, a world-renowned figure and the founder of genetics. This annual open-air festival in Brno, Czech Republic, brings together science, faith, and entertainment in a unique and engaging way. The festival showcases the groundbreaking discoveries of Mendel, who lived and worked in Brno, through a combination of quality music, educational activities, and popular scientific lectures.
