About MHASF
MHASF, the Mental Health Association San Francisco, is a brand dedicated to providing a wide range of mental health services and support. Their offerings include warm line peer support services, peer counseling, support groups, peer providers, clinical integration, post-incarceration peer support, and education and innovation through projects like PROPEL and TAMHS. They also offer training institutes, which provide evidence-based, peer-informed trainings on various mental health topics.
MHASF is committed to advocacy for systemic change, education, activism, and stigma elimination. They provide a peer-run warm line, offering 24/7 emotional support to anyone in California via telephone or instant messaging. MHASF's events and support groups are largely remote, allowing individuals to access their services from anywhere.
With a focus on enhancing overall well-being and reducing mental health service costs, MHASF aims to provide satisfaction, reduce hospitalization and readmission rates, and improve overall health through their services. They are available 24/7 for COVID-19 support and offer a variety of resources for individuals seeking help or wanting to get involved. If you're passionate about peer-run mental health services, MHASF is currently hiring and encourages you to apply for their open positions
