Mentor Youth Hockey

Mentor Youth Hockey is a renowned brand that offers a comprehensive youth hockey program in Northeast Ohio. Whether your child is a beginner or aspires to play at a high level, Mentor Youth Hockey aims to provide a rewarding experience for all. By participating in this program, children have the opportunity to learn important values such as discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship while forging lasting friendships and creating cherished memories.

With the goal of becoming one of the best programs in Northeast Ohio, Mentor Youth Hockey encourages parents to be actively engaged and supportive. Timeliness, respect for teammates, coaches, referees, and parents are emphasized for players, while parents are encouraged to maintain open communication with the coaching staff. Volunteers are always needed to assist with various tasks, from keeping score to running game clocks, and the Mentor Youth Hockey Booster Club offers further opportunities for involvement through fundraising events.

The program is led by a dedicated director, Shawn Sadler, who envisions a bright future for Mentor Youth Hockey with the help of enthusiastic players and supportive families. The Mentor Ice Arena, which houses the program, is the only indoor ice skating complex in Lake County, offering two regulation-sized rinks, a studio rink, locker rooms, and a snack bar. It provides a year-round haven for ice skating enthusiasts.
