Mercado Municipal de Ibiza

Mercado de Ibiza is a municipal neighbourhood market at Calle Ibiza, 8, in central Madrid, close to the Retiro Park. It brings together local stalls offering fresh, authentic market products and a convenient way for residents and visitors to shop for everyday ingredients. Customers can browse the market’s businesses and place orders online, combining the traditional experience of a local market with access from home.

Alongside its food shops, Mercado de Ibiza promotes dining and tasting through its food and restoration offering, inviting visitors to enjoy the market as a place to eat as well as shop. The website provides information about the market’s history, its stalls, a virtual tour, and available commercial premises. Its blog shares practical articles on topics such as meal planning, healthy routines, and kitchen knife sharpening. Located near the Ibiza metro station and served by several bus routes, the market is open throughout the week, with hours that vary by day. Mercado de Ibiza is supported by Madrid City Council.
