Mercantile and Merchant is a Los Angeles-based interior design brand grounded in the belief that people want to buy and create new homes with old souls. Led by Sam, the studio designs spaces that feel collected and characterful rather than newly furnished or showroom-perfect. Its approach is evident in projects such as a dining room described as “curated,” reflecting an interest in interiors with a sense of history and individuality.
The website presents a portfolio of design work and features, alongside information about Sam and ways to make contact. These offerings indicate a focus on residential interior design, helping clients shape homes that combine the appeal of the past with the needs of contemporary living. Visitors can explore selected projects, read published features, and subscribe to a newsletter for news and updates.
