Mercatino di Natale

The official Bolzano Christmas Market presents a seasonal celebration of traditions, craftsmanship and culture in the heart of the city. Recognized as Italy’s first Christmas market, it fills Piazza Walther and nearby Piazza Parrocchia and Piazza Duomo with wooden stalls, festive lights, music and the aromas of cinnamon, sweets and mulled wine. Artisans also line Via Isarco, between the Duomo and Parco dei Cappuccini, offering handmade crafts and distinctive seasonal gifts. The market features 112 exhibitors and three food stands, with opening hours, special schedules and event details published on its official website.

The brand supports visitors in planning a broader stay in Bolzano, providing information on accommodation, restaurants, holiday packages, local attractions, guided tours and family activities. Practical travel guidance covers train, bus, car, camper and air connections, as well as parking and visitor services. The website also highlights events such as Advent in Music and Christmas Walk, alongside market stories, recipes, local traditions, weather and webcams.
