Mercatino Pietrasantino is a 300-square-metre vintage and second-hand market near the centre of Pietrasanta, Italy. Founded in May 2016, it grew from a family appreciation of flea markets and the stories carried by pre-owned objects. The shop brings together carefully selected items, with new merchandise arriving each week, and gives forgotten or unwanted belongings the chance to find a new home.
Its varied collection includes antique, vintage and modern indoor and outdoor furniture, lamps and chandeliers, household goods, decorative objects, collectibles, paintings and frames. Visitors can also browse books, comics, vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, video games, toys, board games, linens, lace, photography accessories, clothing and sports items. The assortment spans several interests, including art, religious and ethnic objects, and trading-card games such as Pokémon and Magic.
Mercatino Pietrasantino invites visitors to take their time exploring, as a discovery may prompt memories or reveal an unexpected treasure. It also encourages creative reuse: with imagination and practical skill, a second-hand piece of furniture can be transformed into something original and personal.
