Mercatus Europe

Mercatus Europe, s.r.o. is a Slovak food business and the official importer of Russian caviar to Slovakia. The company specializes in high-quality caviar and brings selected foods to the market with an emphasis on the stories behind their makers. Its products come mainly from family-run businesses that prioritize quality and freshness, and its stated approach is based on honest trade and fair relationships with customers and partners.

Mercatus Europe supplies premium caviar to YEME stores, making it available through the supermarket’s retail network. Customers can also arrange delivery or personal collection. Because caviar requires carefully controlled temperatures, the company transports it in refrigerated vehicles to protect its quality. It also provides caviar for social events, celebrations, and other occasions.

Alongside its products, Mercatus Europe offers practical guidance on tasting, serving, and presenting caviar. Its specialist Matúš Gajdoš shares tips and videos to help customers enjoy the delicacy, including advice on appropriate serving temperature, utensils, and traditional accompaniments.
