The Republican Party of Merced County (RPMC) serves as the elected representative body for the residents of Merced County, dedicated to promoting conservative values and interests. Committed to registering Republicans and supporting practical candidates and policies, the RPMC plays a vital role in fostering political engagement within the community. It facilitates communication and collaboration with the California Republican Party (CAGOP) and works to fill delegate positions to ensure that local voices are represented on broader platforms.

The RPMC hosts meetings every second Tuesday of even-numbered months at 5:30 pm, welcoming all Republican voters, activists, donors, candidates, and volunteers to participate. These gatherings provide an opportunity for community members to engage with each other and discuss key issues facing the party and the region. The party is actively involved in initiatives aimed at enhancing voter participation and offers resources for those looking to run for office or contribute to local campaigns. Contact information for further involvement is available, encouraging broader community participation.
