Welcome to York Adventurers, home to one of the finest medieval guild halls in the world. Set in beautiful gardens in the center of historic York, the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall offers a unique experience as a fully functioning museum, wedding venue, and hospitality venue. This stunning timber-framed building, which has been a base for charity, worship, and business for over 660 years, is a scheduled ancient monument and Grade 1 listed building.

The Hall features three main rooms: the Great Hall, where medieval merchants conducted their business and socialized, the Undercroft, which once served as an almshouse, and the Chapel, offering spiritual care.
