With two hospital ships, their mission is to provide free healthcare services and surgical care to those in need. Their volunteer crew, made up of individuals from all walks of life, perform life-transforming surgeries, provide essential healthcare and training, and support with donations, prayer, and encouragement.

Mercy Ships operates two vessels, including the Global Mercy, which enables them to place even more emphasis on training and mentoring local healthcare workers, and strengthening Africa's healthcare systems for the future. With 5 out of 7 people globally lacking access to the medical care they need, Mercy Ships aims to fill this gap by making safe, affordable, and timely surgery available.
