Merenkurkun Noutajat

Merenkurkun Noutajat ry, also known in Swedish as Kvarkens Retrievers rf, is a Finnish association founded on October 18, 1987. Based in Vaasa, it operates across the Vaasa Kennel District and works to promote activities involving purebred retrievers, including their breeding, development and wider recognition. The association provides a community for people interested in retrievers to learn, train and participate.

Its programme covers a range of dog activities, including hunting and working tests, obedience, shows, tracking, water rescue and versatile retriever events. The club shares event calendars, competition and trial results, award information, photographs and videos, and provides membership information and resources about its rules and committees. Its activities include organized training and events; published notices have also featured nosework courses and opportunities to introduce dogs to game. Events take place in Vaasa and elsewhere within the kennel district.
