Meridian Flight Systems is a UAV company founded in 2023 to bring advanced hybrid power systems to the unmanned aircraft market. Drawing on more than a century of aerospace expertise, the company develops heavy-lift aircraft for commercial, defence and government operations. Its flagship platform, the Corra, combines twin electric tiltrotors with fixed-wing flight to provide vertical takeoff and landing, hovering and efficient long-range cruise. Meridian states that Corra can carry up to 350 kg and travel more than 2,500 km.

The aircraft uses HERMES, a hybrid-electric range-extending microturbine system that pairs micro gas turbines with high-efficiency batteries. It is designed to use Diesel, Jet-A1 and biofuels, with potential to transition to hydrogen in the future. Corra is intended for logistics, surveillance, defence support, disaster response, search and rescue, and law enforcement. The company also highlights all-weather capability, airworthiness certification goals and support for controlled-airspace and Beyond Visual Line of Sight operations.
