Merlbacher Hof

Merlbacher Hof is a horse boarding operation in Ormesheim, in the Saarland region of Germany, specializing in active-stable accommodation for Icelandic horses. Its approach gives horses the freedom to move between stable areas, woodland, fields, and paddocks, allowing them to choose where to spend their time. The farm presents this year-round movement as part of its focus on horse health and wellbeing.

Merlbacher Hof offers horse boarding and related services, alongside riding clinics and events held at the farm. Its schedule includes lessons with visiting or named instructors, such as a riding clinic led by Marleen Stühler. The website also shares news, activities, photos, and practical information about caring for horses. Topics include feeding and nutrition, as well as potential effects of feed allergies, pollen, and dust. With its emphasis on active-stable care, Icelandic horses, and equine wellbeing, Merlbacher Hof provides owners with a place to board their horses and opportunities to take part in equestrian learning and events.
