Mermazing Swimming® Limited is a swimming instruction business in Peterhead, proudly owned and run by husband-and-wife team Barry and Melanie Dobbie. Built around their love of the water, the business offers tailored lessons through its Mermazing Method™, helping people take their first steps in the pool, develop confidence and water safety, or improve their swimming skills. Melanie began teaching swimming in 2012, bringing years of experience to the programmes.

Lessons are available for a range of ages and needs, including baby and pre-school sessions, children’s learn-to-swim classes, adult confidence-building lessons, intensive lessons, and skills improvement for experienced swimmers. The programme also includes aqua-natal sessions, menopause-focused offerings, and Mermazing Adventurers. This range gives learners options suited to different stages of life and swimming ability.

Mermazing Swimming welcomes children and operates by appointment, with free consultations available. The premises offer parking and Wi-Fi, and debit and credit cards are accepted. Prospective swimmers can contact the team to discuss their needs and begin their swimming journey.
