About Merritt Island Florist
Designs of the Times Florist is a family-focused local florist serving Melbourne, Merritt Island, and communities across Brevard County, Florida. Established in 1982, the business brings more than 40 years of floral experience and operates two locations: in Melbourne and Merritt Island. Its team creates fresh, hand-arranged bouquets and gifts for everyday moments and major occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, new arrivals, and expressions of sympathy or support.
Customers can choose from signature designs, roses, seasonal flowers, plants, gift baskets, and flower subscriptions, with options for home and office. Same-day and last-minute local delivery is available, including delivery to area hospitals, funeral homes, and venues; the florist also offers flower delivery to nearby communities. Designs of the Times provides custom wedding and event flowers, working with customers’ budgets and arranging consultations with a wedding consultant.
The business also offers design classes, a rewards program, gift cards, and floral care resources. Its stated priorities include customer convenience and satisfaction, alongside a commitment to creativity, community, and eco-conscious practices
