Mes Enfants is an independent private nursery in Mumbles, Swansea, established in 2002. Set in a three-storey beachfront building, it provides care and early learning for up to 32 children from birth to around five years old. The nursery combines the Foundation Phase with selected Montessori-inspired principles, using monthly topics, specialised play programmes and a variety of activities to support children of different abilities. Seven themed playrooms, outdoor messy play and visits to the nearby beach and park encourage exploration, confidence and independence at each child’s pace.

Qualified, DBS-checked staff provide nurturing care and are trained in first aid, food hygiene, child protection and fire safety. Welsh is used daily, and families can access weekly baby-signing and baby-sensory classes. The nursery also offers daily updates, photographs and feedback to parents. Homemade meals and snacks are prepared on site, with individual dietary needs accommodated; the nursery reports a five-star food hygiene rating and a Gold Healthy Snack Award.
