Messmer Bestattungen

Gerda Messmer Bestattungen, also associated with Chiari Bestattungen, is a family-focused funeral service in Berlin’s Spandau district. Supporting families since 1927, the organization presents itself as a dependable, compassionate partner during bereavement. Its team aims to ease the burden of a loss by handling practical and administrative responsibilities, including dealings with authorities, so families can spend time with loved ones and make decisions at their own pace.

The funeral home arranges individual, dignified farewells according to each family’s wishes and budget. Services listed include cremation, burial, sea burial, tree burial, anonymous funerals, and transfers of the deceased. The website also references FriedWald options and offers guidance through its “Trauerknigge,” a resource related to funeral etiquette. The team invites families to discuss personal preferences, including distinctive requests, and emphasizes attentive communication, reliability, and support throughout the process. Gerda Messmer Bestattungen offers consultations and can be reached by phone day or night. Its office is located on Schönwalder Straße in Berlin-Spandau, with weekday office hours.
