Metaceutic is a Copenhagen-based biosystems innovation company founded in 2019. It uses metagenomics and systems biology to interpret complex DNA ecosystems and turn biological data into practical product opportunities. The company works from the design of experiments, before samples are collected, through data generation, analysis and innovation development, aiming to identify leads that can be built into products.

Metaceutic’s platform includes maps connecting microbial signatures with chronic inflammatory and lifestyle conditions; an indexed database of bioactive compounds and metabolites with sourcing, safety and efficacy information; formulation and delivery intellectual property; and an AI-assisted pipeline for evidence synthesis and in-silico screening. Its work can be accessed through licensing, co-development or contract engagements, with project teams assembled from a global expert network.
