MetaCTF is a leading brand that specializes in creating trainings and Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions in the field of cybersecurity. With a mission to make cybersecurity education accessible and enjoyable, MetaCTF offers hands-on, interactive, and educational CTF events that allow teams to learn new techniques and concepts in various cybersecurity areas such as cryptography, web exploitation, reverse engineering, and forensics. Each challenge is based on a real-world cybersecurity concept, allowing participants to learn and enhance their skills as they work towards finding hidden pieces of data called flags. Since 2014, MetaCTF has successfully hosted over 50 events and trainings globally for esteemed clients including Wild West Hackin’ Fest, RVASec, and Terminix. Founded by a group of students at the University of Virginia, MetaCTF identified the need for accessible cybersecurity education resources and leveraged the CTF format to teach these concepts effectively.
