Metal Arts Academy

Metal Arts Academy is an education provider focused on fine jewelry design, fabrication, and the broader metal arts. Guided by the motto “Reaching to the Past, Teaching for the Future,” the academy combines traditional craft techniques with hands-on instruction in a supportive studio environment. Its classes are led by experienced goldsmiths and artisans, including founder and jewelry instructor Michael R. Kosinski, and are designed for beginners through professional learners.

Offerings include fine jewelry fabrication and design, wire wrapping, jewelry stringing, enameling, cloisonné, silversmithing, pewtersmithing, copper craft, engraving, and metalworking techniques such as forging and texturing. Students can choose individual classes, multi-day workshops, and the Goldsmith Apprenticeship Program, which provides more intensive professional training. The academy presents its studio as a fully equipped space for learning, experimentation, and creative work, while fostering a community of artists and makers.
