Metamora Historical Society

The Metamora Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the rich history and heritage of the quaint village of Metamora. One of the Society's most treasured assets is the Old Town Hall (OTH)/Opera House, a historic building built in 1888.

Furthermore, the Society remains active by hosting fundraisers and actively participating in various events within the village, such as Metamora Country Days and the annual Christmas Tree Lighting with Santa. They also offer memberships and accept donations to further support their mission of preserving Metamora's history.
