MetCat is a family-run metal recycling and catalyst processing business founded in Wolverhampton in 1980. Serving customers across the UK and Europe, it combines more than 45 years of hands-on industry experience with technology designed to make trading straightforward and transparent. The company buys non-ferrous metals, including brass, copper, aluminium and lead, as well as catalytic converters, tungsten carbide, diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and ceramic catalyst material.
MetCat offers metallic catalyst processing through its in-house processing line, one of only a handful of such facilities in Europe, and tests DPF and ceramic materials in-house to support accurate pricing. Customers can bring materials to its Wolverhampton or London locations or arrange collection. The MetCat App provides live catalytic converter prices and catalogues more than 5,000 converters, serving high-volume suppliers. Sellers of other materials can contact the team directly for quotes.
