About Metegol
Metegol is a platform designed to bring amateur soccer players, venue owners, and tournament organizers together. Described as an operating system for the game, it helps captains build teams, find nearby rivals, and book pitches in one place. Players can create profiles, choose their position and neighborhood, invite teammates, confirm attendance, and track their team’s progress in city rankings.
The platform also supports venue owners with real-time booking calendars, online payments, and visibility to players looking for places to play. Tournament organizers can manage registrations, brackets, live scores, standings, payments, and payouts without relying on spreadsheets. Metegol is preparing a beta launch in Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Medellín, and Lima, with a public release planned for the first quarter of 2026.
The site reports more than 12,000 players on its waitlist, over 340 pitches onboarded, and plans to go live in 28 cities. It says the service is free for players, who can join the beta waitlist without a credit card
