Metelvina is a Portuguese flower-industry business founded around 35 years ago to meet the needs of small flower growers in the Sintra area. Its first activity was importing gladiolus bulbs from the Netherlands for flower production. The company gradually expanded its reach to other parts of Portugal, including areas south of the Tagus, particularly Montijo and Alcochete, which it identifies as the country’s most important flower-producing region.

Metelvina supports customers through its range of products for flower cultivation and highlights selected varieties, including Tresor, Amsterdam and Batistero. Its website also features product campaigns, company news and information about its team and history. The business presents itself as a partner to customers in the flower market, drawing on its long-standing experience and connection with growers.

Based in Porto Alto, Samora Correia, Metelvina serves customers in Portugal and provides contact channels for enquiries. Visitors can also subscribe to its newsletter to receive company updates and follow its news, including coverage of flower-related events such as the Festival da Flor at Fórum Montijo.
