Український гідрометеорологічний центр

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center (UkrHMC) is Ukraine’s national source of weather and hydrometeorological information. It provides current conditions and forecasts for today, tomorrow, and the coming week, helping the public and organizations stay informed about changing conditions. Its services include weather forecasts, meteorological alerts, hydrological updates and warnings, snow and avalanche warnings, radiation information, and fire-danger maps.

Users can consult maps, observation data, automated monitoring posts, and forecast charts covering temperature, cloudiness, precipitation, wind, and other conditions. The Center also publishes information on Ukraine’s radiation situation and shares educational resources on weather literacy, safety, and cybersecurity. Its news and informational materials address topics such as agricultural meteorology, emergency preparedness, and significant developments in the field.

The website notes that some information is created with support from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute. Based in Kyiv, the Center is part of Ukraine’s broader hydrometeorological and emergency-information network and provides resources for both everyday planning and awareness of potentially hazardous natural events
