MetroComicCon

Metro Comic Con is an Australian pop-culture convention that brings fans together to celebrate comics, film, television, animation, gaming, cosplay, publishing and collectables. Promoted as an immersive experience rather than simply a convention, it offers a shared space for fans, artists, creators and industry guests to meet and enjoy their interests. The 2026 event is scheduled for 18–19 July at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The programme features special guests from film and television, comics and publishing, and cosplay, with panels, cosplay competitions, photographs and autograph opportunities. Visitors can explore comics and artist areas, meet local and international creatives, browse handcrafted products and pop-culture merchandise, and discover vintage finds. The event also includes gaming stations, interactive experiences, activations, photo opportunities, food and drink vendors, and spaces to relax.

Metro Comic Con offers Saturday, Sunday and weekend general admission, as well as options including a priority-queuing pass, a VIP weekend ticket and a Meet & Eat dinner function.
