Metro Vets

Adelaide Metro Division Veteran Golfers’ Association Inc. (Metro Vets) is a South Australian association for veteran golfers who belong to established, “bricks and mortar” golf clubs. It provides members with opportunities to play, compete and connect through a regular programme of golf events at clubs across the Adelaide region. The association also organises tours, including trips to Mildura, the Riverland and the South East, and shares information about state and national veteran golf championships.

Members can use the association’s website to view event schedules, results, newsletters, rules and notices, and to make bookings through online booking sheets. The site also provides member-area services, contact information for South Australian veteran golf divisions, golfing links and guidance on website procedures. Metro Vets has introduced phone-app scoring at events and publishes updates such as tour registrations and competition news. Members can also purchase association merchandise by submitting an order form. With event information, member resources and organised golfing activities, Metro Vets supports veteran golfers in participating in the sport and the association’s community.
