Mette Aarup

Hestetandlæge Mette Aarup is an equine dental practice serving horse owners across Zealand, Denmark. Led by veterinarian and equine dentist Mette Aarup, the business focuses on maintaining horses’ oral health and supporting their comfort and wellbeing. Horses can show signs of dental problems through resistance to riding, head tossing, difficulty chewing, excessive salivation or changes in facial muscle symmetry, though some may show no obvious symptoms. The practice recommends a dental examination and treatment approximately once a year, including a check that the horse’s bit and bridle fit appropriately.

Mette Aarup treats horses at her clinic in Hvalsø and travels to locations across Zealand, arranging visits when she is in the client’s area. Services include thorough oral examinations, dental rasping and, where needed, vaccination by appointment. The website also provides information about horse teeth, dental treatment, prices and articles, and lists lectures and workshops among its offerings. Horse owners can contact the practice by phone or email to book an appointment or learn more.
