MeWell, also known as the Mental Wellbeing Community, is a non-profit organization bringing together students and staff from universities in Zurich to improve mental wellbeing in academia. Its members are friends, colleagues, and activists working to encourage a healthier, more supportive relationship between academic life and mental health. MeWell focuses on three areas: raising awareness through events and initiatives, building a welcoming peer-support community, and helping people find reliable information and services.
Its activities include relaxing social gatherings, guest talks, and panel discussions with experts. The organization also shares information about common mental health concerns and contact points, and is developing a hub covering mental health services and resources in and around Zurich. Local partnerships help connect the academic community with relevant support.
