Mezzo Festival

Mezzo Festival is a cultural festival based in Mazara del Vallo, on the south-western tip of Sicily. Describing itself as “the festival of the New Mediterranean,” it celebrates the region as a living meeting place for peoples, stories and creative scenes. Its programme brings together music, art and culture, with concerts, DJ sets and related events featuring local artists alongside established Italian and international performers. Previous performers include Casadilego, Davide Shorty, Giovanni Truppi and Alessio Bondì.

The festival also aims to connect Sicily with wider European and Mediterranean cultural networks. It creates opportunities for artists, bookers, labels, promoters and festivals to meet, while involving local associations, volunteers and the community. Mezzo Festival participates in networks including the European Festivals Association, Keep On Live and Sicily Music Conference, and attends international music showcases. It also invites partners and brands to support its work with young people and the future of Southern Italy.
