MFC-Hans Grade

MFC “Hans Grade” Berlin-Brandenburg e. V. is a model aviation club dedicated to promoting model aircraft building and flying in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. Named for aviation pioneer Hans Grade, the club combines recreational flying with education, community involvement, and support for the next generation of model pilots. Its activities include flying a variety of model aircraft, glider towing, and events such as annual glider-towing gatherings and flying meetups. The club also provides opportunities for members and visitors to learn about the sport, connect with other enthusiasts, and take part in shared building projects.

Youth development is a central focus. The club’s youth group meets at its Schönwald model airfield on Saturdays, where young people can explore flying and work with aircraft and equipment. The club welcomes prospective members, families, and interested spectators, and encourages participation across age groups. It also shares event information, club updates, galleries, videos, and links through its website and social media.
