MFJ（一般財団法人日本モーターサイクルスポーツ協会）は、日本国内のモーターサイクルスポーツを統轄する機関として1961年(昭和36年)に設立され、1990年(平成2年)に文部科学省所管の財団法人となりました。その後公益法人制度改革に基づき2012年(平成24年)4月1日より一般財団法人へ移行しています。また、MFJはモーターサイクルスポーツの世界 統轄機関である国際モーターサイクリズム連盟（FIM）に加盟する唯一の日本代表機関です。 モーターサイクルスポーツの普及振興を図り、もって国民の心身の健全な発達に寄与することを目的として様々な活動を行っています。
