The Moscow Branch of the All-Russian Geological Institute (MGI) has been a key player in geological research since its establishment in 2005. This specialized branch focuses on comprehensive regional geological studies, particularly in exploring and researching natural resources. The MGI offers a range of services including the creation of geological maps, the development of specialized geological databases, and the preparation of geoinformation products.

Their products include digital geological maps at a scale of 1:200,000 and various thematic layers vital for understanding mineral resources. The branch is equipped to create interactive maps, conduct mandatory quality control of field geophysical work, and manage the state geological monitoring system. The team, led by Director Irina Bezjon, is composed of highly skilled geologists and researchers dedicated to advancing geological science. The Moscow Branch not only enhances geological knowledge but also plays a crucial role in supporting sustainable development through informed resource management and exploration efforts.
