MFK Vingen

MFK Vingen is a model aircraft club serving Grenland, Norway, bringing together people interested in model aviation, flying, and shared club activities. The club supports members with access to flying sites at Flittig and Vallermyrene, and provides information for those who want to try flying. Its website also offers practical resources, including safety rules, club regulations, a calendar, historical information, and details about the board and membership.

Safety is an important part of the club’s activities. MFK Vingen shares updates on the model-flying handbook and aviation requirements, including operator identification marking for model aircraft and drones. The club’s Flittig site has been inspected by the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority, with the inspection report noting safety measures such as a safety fence, posted notices and flight rules, and firefighting equipment.

Beyond flying, the club organizes meetings, events, and social gatherings, including an annual meeting and flying weekends. It also shares news about competitions, volunteer work, and club life, and invites supporters to contribute through Norway’s Grassroots Share scheme.
