Mediefondet Zefyr is a regional fund for audiovisual production in the South and West of Norway. They manage government grants and invest private capital in feature films, series, and video games. As a collaboration between regional public authorities, private investors, and the Norwegian Ministry of Culture/Norwegian Film Institute, Mediefondet Zefyr plays a vital role in supporting the industry.

They recently awarded funding for various projects in their first round of government grants in 2023, totaling 9,660,288 NOK across 17 applicants and 20 projects. Additionally, filmmakers with ideas for children or youth films or TV series have the opportunity to win 100,000 NOK to bring their concepts to life. Their application process has a six-week processing time for government grants, consisting of three qualification stages: a technical review, an assessment of artistic and market potential, and an evaluation of the project's regional impact.
