The Minnesota Girls Hockey Coaches Association (MGHCA) is a leading organization dedicated to the development and support of girls' hockey in Minnesota. They offer a range of services and programs aimed at empowering high school hockey captains, team leaders, and coaches. One of their flagship events is the Annual Minnesota Wild Leadership Summit, presented by West Bend Mutual Insurance, where attendees have the unique opportunity to hear from industry leaders, coaches, and former captains from both the State of Hockey and beyond.
This event is free of charge and provides a platform for sharing valuable insights and expertise. In addition to the Leadership Summit, MGHCA offers various resources, including a newsletter, classified ads, and a team finder, to keep members informed and connected within the girls' hockey community. The association is supported by prestigious organizations such as the NHL, NHLPA, Minnesota Hockey, the Minnesota State High School League, the Minnesota Boys and Girls Hockey Coaches Associations, and the Positive Coaching Alliance.
