Manitoba Great Pyrenees Rescue (MGPR) is a dedicated, volunteer-based non-profit organization established in 1996, located near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. MGPR's primary mission is to find permanent, loving homes for abandoned, abused, and neglected Great Pyrenees dogs, while also rescuing various other breeds, cats, and even small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs. All animals in their care are placed in foster homes rather than traditional shelters, receiving necessary veterinary attentions, such as vaccinations and spaying/neutering.

In addition to their rescue efforts, MGPR also offers handmade Snuffle Mats and Snuffle Balls, designed to keep pets stimulated and engaged. These items, available at select local stores, contribute directly to the care of their rescued animals. MGPR actively engages with the community through events and fundraisers, promoting awareness and support for their cause. With an emphasis on quality care and finding forever homes, the organization continually seeks new foster homes and donations to sustain its mission.
