About Mhaata
Galerie mhaata is a contemporary art gallery located in the Marolles neighborhood of Brussels. Since its establishment in March 2017, the gallery has been dedicated to showcasing artwork that reflects the evolution of society throughout different eras and regions, influenced by industrial revolutions and scientific advancements in various forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and digital art. The permanent collection, displayed in the gallery's catalogue, features works from different time periods and countries around the world.
Galerie mhaata supports and exhibits contemporary artists on a regular basis, organizing personal exhibitions for them within its walls every two years. Additionally, the gallery aims to present the artists' works to institutions, collectors, and art enthusiasts outside of its premises. The collection is continuously refreshed with new works, sometimes curated thematically.
Galerie mhaata also collaborates with institutional and associative partners for cultural events involving its artists and seeks to establish relationships with businesses for the promotion of their industrial heritage
