MHAVE

The Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) is the official Haitian government ministry serving the country’s diaspora. Its online portal connects Haitians abroad with public services, practical procedures, institutional information, and resources related to their ties with Haiti. Visitors can find guidance on passport applications and renewals, certified civil-status records, document legalization and apostilles, and registration in the official diaspora registry. The portal also provides the iKat digital arrival form and information for people planning to visit or invest in Haiti.

MHAVE shares official announcements, news, and messages from the minister, and offers assistance through its “MHAVE à l’Écoute” contact service, with listed phone and WhatsApp channels for Haiti and several countries. Its cultural resources include information on Haitian history, heritage, national and local celebrations, as well as media, events, and Natif Natal Televizyon programming. Through these services and resources, the ministry aims to bring government support closer to Haitians living overseas and strengthen their connection with their homeland.
