Misja Muzeum Historycznego Miasta Krakowa: "Jesteśmy po to by poznawać, chronić, przybliżać współczesnym i przekazać naszym następcom niepowtarzalne dziedzictwo przeszłości Krakowa. Nasza praca to służba na polu kształtowania człowieka świadomego swej tożsamości". Obecnie muzeum ma 17 oddziałów. // Founded in 1899 as a museum, The Historical Museum of the City of Krakow aspire to explain where we come from and who we are, and how we can develop a shared future of Krakow and to examine changes in history and our present relations.
