The Michigan Collegiate Football Officials' Association (MCFOA) is dedicated to enhancing the standards of college football officiating across Michigan, particularly at the Division I, II, and III levels. Based in Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, the association focuses on fostering a culture of consistency and excellence among its members. Through regular meetings, film reviews, mentoring, and instructional clinics, MCFOA emphasizes critical areas such as rule interpretation, officiating mechanics, and effective communication.

One of the highlights of the MCFOA is the renowned Great Lakes Collegiate Football Officiating Clinic. This three-day event provides comprehensive classroom knowledge and practical on-field training, culminating in an evaluation of participants’ officiating skills during live scrimmages. The MCFOA is committed to its mantra, "Get it RIGHT!" by ensuring that all officials are well-prepared and informed to uphold the integrity of the game.
