About Michael de Meij
Michael de Meij VOF is a family-run goldsmith business in Dordrecht, Netherlands, with a heritage spanning five generations. After running a jewelry shop for 26 years, Michael de Meij returned to the craft of goldsmithing, his stated passion, and worked from a home atelier. The business offered appointments for personal, relaxed consultations, helping customers bring their jewelry ideas to life within their wishes and budget.
Its services included designing, altering, repairing, and restoring jewelry. Michael also created rings to individual designs and transformed existing gold jewelry into new pieces. Customers could explore examples of the workshop’s work and learn about the brands it featured through the website.
