a Microburst

Microburst Sport Flying Association is a Budapest-based flight training organisation serving people interested in aviation, from recreational beginners to those pursuing professional-level flying. Its main base is at Budaörs Airport, which the organisation notes is accessible by public transport. Training covers fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, with programmes in helicopter flying, gliding and powered-aircraft flying. The school also offers PPL and LAPL training, supporting students seeking private pilot licences for their chosen type of flying.

Microburst’s instructors bring experience from a range of aviation roles. Their backgrounds include airline captains and first officers, a business jet captain, and helicopter pilots who have served in air ambulance and police aviation. The organisation’s team includes instructors responsible for training and operational leadership, as well as pilots with experience in glider and powered-aircraft instruction. Through its diverse training options and experienced staff, Microburst provides a route into sport flying and pilot development across several aircraft categories. Its website also features information about courses, training prices, the organisation, and its instructors.
