Frederikssund Middelalderkampsport is a club dedicated to medieval martial arts, a full-contact sport practiced with historically accurate armor and weapons recreated from medieval finds. The sport has established rules and competitions around the world, including world championships for both national teams and clubs. Participants do not need to own armor to get started: beginners learn to fight in soft armor, protective equipment similar to boxing gear, using a shield and sword instead of boxing gloves.
Training combines physical exercise, technique, and combat, offering an active introduction to the sport in a structured setting. The club provides instruction and invites interested newcomers to try a free training session. Its website also features a gallery and information about opening hours and prices, along with details for contacting the club.
Based in Frederikssund, Denmark, Frederikssund Middelalderkampsport welcomes people who are curious about medieval combat, whether they are exploring the activity for themselves or looking for information for someone they know. The club encourages prospective participants to get in touch with questions
