The Mid Devon Show is an award-winning annual agricultural and country show organised by the Mid Devon Town and Country Show Society, a registered charity based in Devon. Set against the backdrop of the National Trust’s Knightshayes Court, the event celebrates rural life, local heritage and the community of Mid Devon. Visitors can enjoy livestock displays and competitions, including cattle, horses and sheep, alongside vintage tractors, steam engines, classic vehicles and countryside demonstrations.
The programme also features arena entertainment, live music, a dog area, activities for children, horticulture and opportunities to explore rural crafts. Food and drink are central to the experience, with local producers and dedicated food areas offering regional flavours. Shopping, marquees and attractions provide plenty to discover across the showground, making the event suitable for families and visitors of all ages.
