MidkemiaUO is a Czech Ultima Online shard offering a fantasy world built around exploration, role-playing, combat, crafting, and community events. Players enter Midkemia, a setting of kingdoms, ancient powers, diverse peoples, and dangerous creatures, where they can take on roles such as warrior, mage, healer, hunter, or artisan. The game invites adventurers to explore cities, forests, plains, dungeons, and distant continents; undertake quests and royal expeditions; defend the kingdom; and join battles and arena challenges.

Players can train and ride animals, develop skills, gather equipment from defeated monsters, and improve items through crafting. The shard also features crafting professions, player commissions, trade, a rune system, and guides for installation, gameplay, and role-playing. MidkemiaUO provides a launcher for downloading and starting the game, with registration available when logging in.

The site announces a planned server relaunch called Riftwar Saga, described as a Czech- and English-language update with revised combat, skills, companions, crafting, locations, quests, and quality-of-life features. Ongoing news, events, screenshots, maps, and community information support players
